🧡 au revoir 🧡
my ears just popped and I can finally hear clearly again! I had such a rush of joy when it happened I actually wanted to run and tell someone..”hey I can hear again!” Then it hit me how fragile our human bodies are. When life is going fine and everything’s lined up we think we’re invincible but then…we’re hit with a little cold, a little sniffly nose and a body temperature just 2 degrees higher than normal. Just 2!! and just like that… our world slows down , even if just a bit. And we start to realize all the little things we’ve taken for granted…like hearing at a regular volume or just breathing from our noses! We seem so tough, resilient, anchored, hardworking, and then little germs that aren’t even visible to the eye, make their way into our bodies and then our body just shuts down and demands rest and a change of pace. The rush of joy that came from my unplugged ears makes me realize how tiny, weak, and insignificant I am but that God, the creator of this universe, mighty, powerful, unshakeable still decides to pursue and love me - and not only love, but use me for His glory and His kingdom. What an undeserved gift for a feeble, wavering, and completely unworthy human. maybe I should thank Jesus for these lil germs that remind me of His persistent love for me. 💗
